This two-story, 97,400 square foot Placer County Community Development Resource Center serves a variety of County Departments. It was designed to be functional for the users and offer flexibility of the space for the lifetime of the building. Sustainable design considerations were a major factor in the design of this facility and the implementation of energy conserving features in the buildings construction and operation resulted in a building that exceeds California's Title 24 Energy Efficiency Standards by 44%.
